In brief
In brief
At 3am, every unfinished task develops a legal argument. The room is too warm, your brain is writing tomorrow’s disaster plan, and checking the time somehow makes time move more slowly. Sleep disruption is common around this stage, particularly when night sweats are involved, but common does not mean trivial. Repeated poor sleep can make mood, concentration and ordinary patience much harder.
The night is not the place to solve your whole life. If sleep is not returning, lower the stakes: cool down, keep light low, write the worry in one line, or move somewhere comfortable for a quiet activity. Rest still counts even when it is not the sleep you wanted. Tomorrow can be adjusted; it does not have to be conquered as proof that the night did not affect you.
