1. Using the Service
GlowUp is a general wellbeing, fitness and educational service for women. It provides a reading library, daily wellbeing check-ins, a clearly labelled AI Coach, guided strength planning, workout guidance, habit tracking and optional subscription access through a mobile application. You may use GlowUp only in compliance with these terms and applicable law.
2. Health and Safety Disclaimer
GlowUp is designed for general wellbeing, fitness and education. It is not a medical device or healthcare service and is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict or treat any disease, injury or condition. It does not replace a doctor, pharmacist, physiotherapist, dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional.
- You participate in workouts at your own risk.
- Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing exercise if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or are unsure whether an activity is suitable.
- Stop immediately and seek appropriate help if you experience pain, dizziness, illness or unusual discomfort.
- If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service. Do not wait for or rely on GlowUp.
- Daily check-ins and standard, lighter or recovery suggestions are comfort guidance, not a medical assessment.
- Articles may discuss perimenopause, menopause, hormone replacement therapy and other health topics for general information. Decisions about medication, hormones, tests, supplements or treatment must be made with a qualified healthcare professional.
- GlowUp does not guarantee any specific health, fitness, or weight-loss outcome.
3. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
GlowUp provides a free signed-in experience and offers optional GlowUp Monthly access through Apple's App Store. The exact free and subscription features may change as the service develops. Subscription details shown in the app may vary by territory, offer and App Store configuration.
- If a free trial is offered, eligibility and duration are determined by Apple and shown before purchase confirmation.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged the amount shown on the App Store purchase screen at the time Apple confirms the transaction.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, not by GlowUp.
5. Apple Terms and License
If you downloaded GlowUp from the App Store, your use of the app is also subject to any applicable Apple terms. Unless a separate custom license is provided, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these terms.
GlowUp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use GlowUp for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code except where law expressly permits it.
- Interfere with the app, its servers, or related systems.
- Share access in a way that bypasses subscription or account controls.
- Misrepresent your identity or submit false information in connection with the service.
7. AI Features
GlowUp uses AI to generate strength plans and provide the clearly labelled AI Coach. AI output can contain mistakes, omissions or recommendations that are not suitable for a particular person or circumstance. The AI Coach is not a doctor, does not know your full medical history, does not diagnose and must not be used to choose treatment.
GlowUp asks for your explicit permission before sending information to Anthropic for an AI feature. You may decline and keep using the free library, or withdraw permission in Settings. Without permission, new AI Coach replies and generated strength plans are not available; an existing plan remains available unless you delete it or your account.
GlowUp uses automated safety routing and fixed escalation messages for some urgent or treatment-related questions, but no automated system detects every risk. You remain responsible for deciding whether any workout or general suggestion is appropriate and for seeking professional or emergency help when needed.
8. Intellectual Property
GlowUp, including its text, design, branding, artwork, workout presentation, and app content, is owned by GlowUp or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you ownership of the service or its content.
Library articles combine practical guides, editorial material and links to further reading. Editorial material can help users feel recognised, but it is not a statement that every reader has the same cause, condition or recommended course of action. Sources and review dates can change, and you should verify consequential health decisions with a qualified professional.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to GlowUp if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created risk for other users, or used the service unlawfully. You may stop using GlowUp at any time and may delete your account from within the app.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowUp is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowUp and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, it will be subject to the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and may notify users through the app where appropriate.
