In brief
Use a stable chair and clear floor space. Move slowly and keep breathing. This general session is not suitable for every injury or medical condition; choose only movements that are already comfortable for you, and stop for sharp pain, chest pain, faintness or unusual breathlessness.
- Chair sit-to-stand: 6 to 10 controlled repetitions, using your hands for support if needed.
- Wall push-up: 6 to 10 repetitions, moving your feet closer to the wall to make it easier.
- Standing calf raise while holding the chair: 8 to 12 repetitions with a comfortable range.
- Rest for one or two minutes, then repeat once only if your technique and energy still feel steady.
